NPP Inaugurates National Elections Committee Ahead of National Conference

The Acting National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Chairman Butey, has officially inaugurated the Party’s National Elections Committee to oversee preparations for the upcoming National Conference and the election of National Officers.
The inauguration marks an important step in the Party’s preparations for the successful organization and conduct of the national electoral process.
The Committee will be chaired by Hon. Frederick Opare-Ansah, with Mr. Evans Nimako serving as Secretary. Among other responsibilities, the Committee has been mandated to plan, organize, and superintend the processes leading to the National Conference for the election of National Officers of the Party, as well as oversee the conduct of the elections.
The newly constituted National Elections Committee is composed of:
- Hon. Frederick Opare-Ansah – Chairman
- Hon. Abena Osei Asare – Vice Chair
- Mr. Evans Nimako – Secretary
- Madam Oboshie Sai Cofie – Member
- Hon. Anthony Abayifa Karbo – Member
- Hon. Salam Ama Appianin Damata – Member
- Mr. Eric Ntori – Member
- Mr. Frank Davies, Esq. – Member
- Ashanti Regional Chairman – Member, to assume office upon the conclusion of the Ashanti Regional Elections
The Party has congratulated all members of the Committee on their appointment and expressed confidence in their ability to execute the mandate entrusted to them.
The NPP expects the Committee to conduct its responsibilities with integrity, fairness, transparency, and professionalism, while ensuring that the processes leading to the National Conference and the election of National Officers are conducted in accordance with the Party’s established rules and procedures.
The inauguration further demonstrates the Party’s commitment to strengthening its internal democratic processes and ensuring an orderly, credible, and transparent transition into the next phase of its national leadership.
The New Patriotic Party wishes the National Elections Committee success in the discharge of its mandate and looks forward to a well-organized electoral process that serves the best interests of the Party and its members.
