NPP Congratulates Newly Elected National Executives

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has successfully concluded its 2026 National Delegates Conference and National Officers’ Elections, with delegates electing a new team of National Executives to steer the affairs of the Party for the next four years.
The elections were held on Saturday, 3 October 2026, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, with thousands of delegates participating in the electoral process. The elections produced a new leadership team headed by John Boadu as National Chairman, while Justin Kodua Frimpong retained his position as General Secretary.
The newly elected National Executives are:
- John Boadu – National Chairman
- Kojo Fosu Boadu – 1st Vice-Chairperson
- Henry Nana Boakye – 2nd Vice-Chairperson
- Nana Akomea – 3rd Vice-Chairperson
- Justin K. Frimpong – General Secretary
- Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover – National Organiser
- Alfred K. Thompson – National Treasurer
- Abanga Fuseini – National Youth Organiser
- Mavis Hawa Koomson – Women’s Organiser
- Ali Suraj – Nasara Organiser
- Miracles Aboagye – Communications Director
The NPP warmly congratulates all the newly elected National Executives and wishes them a successful tenure in service to the Party. The Party also commends all aspirants who participated in the elections and offered themselves for national service, as well as the delegates who exercised their mandate.
Commendation to the National IT Department
The Party extends special commendation to the National IT Department, led by Director of IT, Mr. Eric Nana Ntori, for its contribution to the organisation and conduct of the elections.
The successful management of the technological and electoral support systems is an important part of a modern internal electoral process. The NPP appreciates the work of the IT team and all personnel who contributed to ensuring that the electoral process was effectively supported. Mr. Eric Nana Ntori is publicly identified as the Party’s Director of IT.
Appreciation to the Ghana Police Service
The NPP also expresses its appreciation to the Ghana Police Service for the security support provided throughout the National Delegates Conference and elections.
Ahead of the elections, between 3,000 and 4,000 police personnel were reported to have been deployed to support security arrangements, including traffic management, protection of delegates and guests, and security within and around the stadium.
The Party recognises the efforts of the security personnel who worked to support a safe and orderly environment for delegates, candidates and other participants.
The NPP congratulates the newly elected National Executives and extends appreciation to the National Officers Elections Committee, National IT Department, Ghana Police Service, Electoral Commission, delegates, aspirants, volunteers and all stakeholders whose efforts contributed to the conclusion of the elections.
The Party now looks forward to the new leadership taking up its mandate and continuing the work of strengthening the organisation and its democratic traditions.
