Nominations Open for NPP National Officers Elections

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially opened nominations for aspirants seeking to contest the various National Officer positions of the Party.
The nomination process commenced on Monday, 17th August and will run through to Saturday, 22nd August, with nominations being received daily from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
All interested aspirants have been encouraged to take advantage of the stipulated period to pick up their nomination forms and complete all required processes. Aspirants are expected to come along with the prescribed filing fees, payable either in cash or by paid cheque, when collecting their nomination forms.
Nine Aspirants Pick Forms on Day One
At the close of nominations on the first day, a total of nine (9) aspirants had picked up nomination forms to contest the various advertised National Officer positions.
The breakdown of the nominations received on Day One is as follows:
- National Chairman – 2 aspirants
- National Vice Chairman – 1 aspirant
- General Secretary – 1 aspirant
- National Treasurer – 1 aspirant
- National Organizer – 1 aspirant
- National Women Organizer – 1 aspirant
- National Nasara Coordinator – 1 aspirant
- National Communications Director – 1 aspirant
The development marks the beginning of the process towards the election of the Party’s next National Officers and is expected to attract further interest from members seeking to serve at the national level.
The National Officers Elections Committee has urged all prospective aspirants to adhere strictly to the announced timelines and ensure that all nomination requirements and procedures are duly completed within the stipulated period.
The Committee further encourages interested members to make use of the nomination window and submit their forms within the designated hours to facilitate an orderly and transparent electoral process.
The NPP remains committed to conducting a credible, fair, transparent, and well-organized process as it prepares for the election of its National Officers.
