The National Officers Elections Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced an extension of the period for the filing of nomination forms for aspirants seeking to contest the Party’s National Officers Elections.
The extension is intended to provide prospective aspirants with additional time to complete the nomination process and fulfil all necessary requirements ahead of the elections.
The Committee has therefore encouraged all interested aspirants who have not yet completed the filing process to take advantage of the extended period and submit their nomination forms within the newly announced deadline.
Aspirants are reminded to ensure that all required documentation and applicable filing fees are duly completed and submitted in accordance with the guidelines issued by the National Officers Elections Committee.
The Committee has emphasized its commitment to ensuring that the nomination and electoral processes are conducted in a fair, transparent, orderly, and credible manner, consistent with the rules and procedures of the New Patriotic Party.
The extension forms part of the Committee’s efforts to facilitate broad participation and ensure that all eligible members who intend to offer themselves for national leadership have a reasonable opportunity to complete the nomination process.
The National Officers Elections Committee has consequently called on all prospective aspirants, party members, and stakeholders to take note of the extension and cooperate fully with the electoral authorities to ensure a smooth and successful process.
Further details regarding the new deadline, filing arrangements, and other applicable requirements will be communicated by the National Officers Elections Committee through the appropriate channels.
